Daniel P. Allen, born in Quakertown, PA on July
8, 1955, was BORN AGAIN at an early age in his dad's church in
Philadelphia. He was raised in a minister's home which gave him
a bird's eye view of the profession in which he would later be
called. It also afforded plenty of opportunities to assist his
dad in the ministry. As a teenager and young college student he
taught a Sunday School class, led the Junior Church, conducted
worship, directed the Bus Ministry, worked in the media-ministry
of the church and occasionally preached.
He is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA (BS in
Pastoral Ministries); Biblical Theological Seminary, Hatfield,
PA (MA in Religious Thought); Lancaster Bible College,
Lancaster, PA (D.D. - Doctor of Divinity)
His first charge was at Faith Fellowship Chapel in Cape May
Court House, NJ in 1979. Two years later he joined the staff of
the Bible Fellowship Church of Ephrata as Pastor of Education,
and a year later became the Senior Pastor where he served until
the end of 2004. Presently he is the director of Pinebrook Bible
Conference, East Stroudsburg, PA.
During his ministry the Lord has opened many doors of service
especially in the area of media. He continues a radio ministry
entitled: "Minute Meditations". These minute spots have been
aired on stations in Lancaster, Berks and Lehigh Counties. His
first venture in televison was a debate format on local cable
called: Public Pulpit and aired for five years. For another five
years he hosted a program entitled: the bottom line. This
half-hour program, shown in south-central Pennsylvania and
northern Maryland, discussed contemporary topics from a
Biblical, moral, and ethical perspective. Dan has also been
featured in Christian Public Service announcements and
voice-over spots. He continues to write letters to various
newspapers espousing conservative, Christian views. He has done
some freelance writing, submitting articles to various
newspapers and periodicals. And continues to write a weekly
article featured on Pinebrook’s website (www.pinebrook.org). He
is outspoken on various moral and biblical issues.
He is a member of the National Religious Broadcasters and serves
on various committees and agencies of the Bible Fellowship
Church Conference.
Dan is married to the former Vonnette Day of Colorado Springs,
Colorado and they have four adult children, the younger two, of
which, are completing their education at Liberty University
Seminary and Lancaster Bible College respectively.
Dan Allen is driven by the reality that many folks do not know
Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Therefore he goes to
churches and to other functions preaching and representing His
Lord and Pinebrook. To have Dr. Allen speak at your event,

everyone to experience the same joy he has found in Jesus
Christ. Thus, he wishes all "Joy in Jesus".
